Reception

Christina Hoffmann wrote in The World: " Here is the new video, as already earlier songs such as America, quite clearly politically read as a critique of the cultural hegemony of the U.S., on a Californication the world. Against the Light and sunny place Rammstein 's gravity, Hard and Dark, just the German.

Anti-Americanism is not specifically right, alright. But why sing Rammstein at the end of " My Country " words like "Exiled - Forget "? This is hardly the Native American meant. There is in our country a subculture that sets out to such texts to their own conclusions. "

Paul Landers says the song was meant: " [ ... ] In any case, he has no passport and tries to come clean in any world. And no one makes him pure. He knocks on every country and no one says: "Come in," but all say: "This is my country." So the song is meant [ ... ]. "
