Meishan

Meishan (Chinese眉山, Pinyin Meishan ) is a city in the Chinese province of Sichuan.

Administrative Divisions

The prefecture-level city of Meishan is made at the county level from a municipality and five circles. These are:

• City District Dongpo -东坡区Dongpo Qū;
• Circle Renshou -仁寿 县Renshou Xiàn;
• Circle Pengshan -彭山 县Pengshan Xiàn;
• Circle Hongya -洪雅 县Hóngyǎ Xiàn;
• Circle Danleng -丹棱县Danleng Xiàn;
• Circle Qingshen -青神县Qingshen Xiàn.

Attractions

The Bao'en Temple of Meishan ( Meishan Bao'en ta眉山 报恩寺) and the ancestral hall of the Three Su ( San Su ci三 苏 祠) - ie Su Shi, Su Xun and Su Zhe - are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2006.
