Mekhi Phifer
Mekhi Phifer ( born December 29, 1974 in Harlem, New York ) is an American actor.
Between 19 and 21 years, he began his acting career when he moved to a casting for the film " Clockers ". Here the main role, he was awarded. He got a lot of praise from his fellow actors, including John Turturro, Delroy Lindo and Harvey Keitel.
He also starred in music videos with, among other things, 50 Cent, Craig Mack, Wu -Tang Clan, En Vogue, Brandy, Keith Sweat and Monica. After several other ( small ) roles came his breakthrough with the role of "Future" in 8 Mile, in which he played with Eminem together.
From 2002 to 2008 Phifer was one of the main cast of the U.S. television series Emergency Room - at The Emergency Room, in which he embodied the unconventional Dr. Gregory Pratt.
