Mel Judah

Mel "The Silver Fox " Judah ( born October 8, 1947 in Calcutta, India) is an Australian professional poker player, who currently lives in London.

He observed at the age of 14 years his father while playing five card draw and so learn to play poker. Prior to his poker career he worked as a hairdresser and says that he would thereby better understand the psychology of other poker players.

Career

Already at the beginning of his career, he won a bracelet at the World Series of Poker. In 1989 he won a $ 1,500 Seven Card Stud tournament. In the World Series of Poker 1997, he took his second bracelet in a $ 5,000 Seven Card Stud tournament.
