Melazzo
Melazzo ( Piedmontese Mlass, in the local dialect Mross ) is a municipality with 1313 (as of 31 December 2012) inhabitants in the province of Alessandria (AL ), Region Piedmont.
The neighboring municipalities are Acqui Terme, Bistagno, Cartosio, Castelletto d' Erro, Cavatore and Terzo.

The village lies at an altitude of 254 m above sea level. The municipality covers an area of 19.73 km ².
Specialty
In Melazzo vines of Dolcetto Dolcetto d' Acqui for a red wine are grown with DOC status. The berries of the grape varieties Pinot Noir and / or Chardonnay may be processed for sparkling wine Alta Langa. Barbera goes into the production of Barbera del Monferrato.
