Melchior Lussy

Melchior Lussi, also called " Lussy " (* 1529 in Stans, † November 14, 1606 ibid ) was a Swiss statesman, Landammann Nidwalden and council deputy and colonel in foreign military services.

In 1541 he acquired the Winkelriedhaus in Stans. In 1553 he founded the Capuchin monastery in Stans. He was since 1583, Knights of the Holy grave.
