Melgven

Melgven ( Mêlwenn Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department 3354 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located in the south-west Brittany about 8 kilometers (km ) north of the Atlantic coast. A few kilometers away are the important tourist places Concarneau and Pont -Aven. Quimper is located 22 kilometers (km) north-west, 38 km south-east of Lorient, Brest 70 km north-west of Paris and 450 km east-northeast ( information easily calculated in a straight line ).

Infrastructure

The next exit is Pont-Aven/Melgven on the highway-like -laned road E 60 (Nantes- Brest) and in Bannalec there is a regional railway station on the predominantly parallel railway line. In Lorient and Brest are regional airports.
