Melissa Müller

Melissa Müller ( * 1967 in Vienna) is an Austrian freelance journalist and writer.

Life

Melissa Müller studied German Studies and Business Administration. She then worked for various business editors and magazines in Vienna and Munich.

Mid-1990s, she decided to write a biography of Anne Frank and fill the historical gaps in the diary of Anne Frank by research. She questioned historians, archives, witnesses, among others traveled to Israel and the United States. The book The Girl Anne Frank, with the Melissa Müller attracted international attention, was published in 1998 and translated into more than 20 languages. Three years later, the film adaptation of Anne Frank Taylor - Gordon appeared with Ben Kingsley and Hannah in the lead roles. The film won an Emmy Award.
