Mellansel

Mellansel is a Tätort ( village ) in Ångermanland. The town is located 30 km north- west of Örnsköldsvik on Anundsjösjön.

It lies on the railway line Bracke floor and, after the opening of the railway line to Örnsköldsvik on 1 November 1982, a railway junction. Today drive passenger trains to Stockholm, Gothenburg, Örnsköldsvik, Umeå, Luleå and Kiruna.

Mellansel also has an airfield. The largest company in Mellansel is the hydraulic motor manufacturer Hagglunds Drives (now part of Bosch Rexroth ) with 900 employees. In the village there is an adult education center and an outdoor pool.
