Mellerud Municipality

Mellerud is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province of Västra Götaland County and the historic province of Dalsland. The main town of the municipality is Mellerud.

History

Prior to the merger of Älvsborgs County, Skaraborgs Göteborgs och Bohus Lan and Lan to Västra Götaland County Mellerud belonged to the province Älvsborg.
