Melodyne

Melodyne is a computer program for manipulating tones. The music software Melodyne is sold in versions for Windows and Mac OS from the Celemony Software GmbH. 1997 Peter Neubäcker began with the development of Melodyne. At the Winter NAMM 2001, the program was presented for the first time. It was now numerous awards, including the 2009 MIPA Award for the most innovative music product.

Melodyne serves primarily to vocal intonation correction, Celemony presented in 2008, but with DNA Direct Note Access a technology which makes it possible to edit individual notes within polyphonic audio also material.

Currently there are four different editions of Melodyne: Melodyne editor ( DNA ), Melodyne assistant and Melodyne essential Melodyne studio bundle, Melodyne studio and Melodyne editor contains.
