Mélonin Noumonvi

Mélonin Noumonvi ( born October 10, 1982 in Paris ) is a French wrestler. He became in 2009 vice-champion in Greco-Roman wrestling in the middleweight division.

Career

Called Mélonin Noumonvi " Mélo ", is the son of African immigrants to France. He already began in 1989 at the age of 7 years with the rings and is owned by the wrestler Club at Bagnolet in Paris. At the 2007 World Championships in Baku, he retired, however, after a victory over Dante Harebaschwili, Greece out because of a loss to Yunior Estrada Falcon from Cuba after the second round, landing once again on the 19th Place.

At the 2008 European Championships in Tampere Mélonin Noumonvi retired after two wins from a defeat against the multiple world champion Ara Abrahamian of Sweden after the third round and came by it only to 10th place. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, for which he had qualified by a win in the Qualifying Tournament in Rome, but then he made a sensation. He lost his first fight there against the Italians Andrea Minguzzi 0-2 rounds at 2-2 points, Minguzzi each of the two rounds won only by the last championship.
