Melton Mowbray

Melton Mowbray is a town of about 26,000 inhabitants in the English county of Leicestershire, about 15 miles ( 24 km) north-east of Leicester and 18 miles (29 km ) southeast of Nottingham.

Melton Mowbray is known for its culinary specialties, Melton Mowbray Pork Pies and Stilton. These were made known by the rich guests who had come regularly in the 19th and 20th century fox hunts to Melton Mowbray.

In Melton Mowbray is an animal feed factory of Mars Incorporated. There, the Whiskas cat food is made.
