Melville Rogers

Melville Falkner Rogers ( born January 5, 1899 in Ottawa, Ontario, † September 26, 1973 ) was a Canadian figure skater.

In a single run Rogers in 1923 and 1925-1928 Canadian champion. However, he did not participate in World Championships as an individual runner. At the Olympic Games in 1924 in Chamonix, he finished seventh. In pair skating, he was at these Olympic Games with his skating partner Cecil Smith also seventh. After that, he was with Gladys Rogers 1925 Canadian champion in pair skating. With Isobel Rogers, however, he participated in his only two world championships. 1930 took the couple's fifth and 1932 they were ninth and last.

After his retirement from competitive skating Rogers worked as a judge and served for two terms as President of the Canadian Figure Skating Association.
