Memphis Bleek grows under bad circumstances with his friend Shawn Carter in one of the poorest areas of New York to.
Both deal with rap and begin to write their first texts. When his friend Shawn Carter, aka Jay-Z meanwhile, picks up his album " Reasonable Doubt ", he lets his friend in the recording of the song " Coming of Age " a few lines rap. Jay -Z's album will be a hit, but Bleek only gets little attention.
