Memphis (cigarette)

Memphis is a mainly marketed in Austria cigarette brand. Manufactured and distributed it is from Austria Tabak AG, a subsidiary of Gallaher Group.

The introduction of the first cigarette of the Memphis brand in Austria took place in 1969. However Its beginnings reach back to the beginning of the 20th century. The name symbolized the origin of the tobacco used in Egypt. Since 1989, the brand is the market leader in Austria. This prompted Austria Tabak to expand the Memphis product range steadily:
