Memphis Redbirds

The Memphis Redbirds are a baseball team of the Pacific Coast League, a AAA minor league. The Redbirds are the only higher class Sport Team of the USA, which is set up as a non-profit organization. The Redbirds have some of the highest attendance figures in the U.S. in minor league baseball.

The team, founded in 1998 is one, unlike almost all other professional teams in the United States, no single user, but similar to the Green Bay Packers a foundation whose ownership shares are widely dispersed across the population of Memphis, Tennessee.
