Mequon is a city in Ozaukee County in the southeast of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It lies about 20 km north of Milwaukee on Lake Michigan and is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area.

Mequon is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area, and acts as a residential suburb of Milwaukee. In the surrounding area there are about 100 golf courses.

Showpiece of the city is its high school, Homestead High. This has good learning conditions, there are three soccer fields, a football stadium, an indoor running track, a swimming pool with swimming lanes olympia enabled and diving boards. The climate in summer ( from May) very hot and sometimes humid, and in winter ( from October) it will be very cold, sometimes up to 20 degrees below zero.
