Merano Open
The ATP tournament Meran ( Merano officially open ) is a former men's tennis tournament, which was held once in 1999. It replaced the Tournament of Bologna in the tour calendar, and was discharged as this outdoors on clay court. Was also taken of the appointment, the Merano Open took place in the week before Wimbledon.
The tournament was presented in the ATP International Series, the predecessor series on the ATP World Tour 250 With the setting of the tournament after just one year, the tradition came to an end, that between Roland Garros and Wimbledon clay court tournaments to be held; since been found in this period, only instead of grass tournaments.
