Mercedes Abad

Mercedes Abad ( born 1961 in Barcelona) is a Spanish writer.

Mercedes Abad studied Information Sciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 1986, she became known for her work ligeros libertinajes sabáticos for which she was awarded the Premio La Sonrisa Vertical VIII. Her second book Felicidades conyugales (1986 ) was a great success.

She also works as a newspaper writer and in the fields of theater, cinema and radio.
