Mercedes -Benz CLK Coupe (2002-2005)
The Mercedes -Benz 209 series was the successor series set in the May 2002 Mercedes -Benz 208 series and belongs to the Mercedes -Benz CLK-Class. The Mercedes -Benz CLK (model 209 ) was prepared as a coupe (C 209) in the Daimler plant in Bremen and Cabriolet ( A 209 ) by Karmann in Osnabrück.

W 209 is not an official name of Mercedes -Benz, as a collective term for the variants C 209 and A 209 W 209 but this series is common.

Body

Facelift
2004, a first revision of the CLK:
- New, upgraded center console ( new switch, radio designs with a larger screen, new shift / selector lever, etc.)
- Improved circuit and direct steering

Since 2006, two new engines available
- The CLK 500 (240 kW/388 hp)
- The CLK 63 AMG (354 kW/481 hp).
- New equipment package: the CLK sports and styling package that includes, among other things, an AMG styling.
- From 2007 there was a new engine: the CLK 200 Kompressor with 135 kW ( 184 hp )
- You will see a special model of the Performance Studio of AMG, the CLK 63 AMG Black Series with 19 kW more power ( 373 kW/507 hp, 630 Nm)
Engine variants
Unlike the previous generation W208, there is now diesel engines for the offered between 2002 and 2010 CLK W209.
