Mercurius (crater)

Mercurius is a lunar impact crater on the northeast front. It lies north of the lava plain of Lacus memory and west of the great crater Zeno. The wall is terraced and moderately eroded, the interior is flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by Mercury, the messenger of the gods in Roman mythology.
