Mercy Adoma Owusu-Nimoh

ADOMA Mercy Owusu- Nimoh (* in the 20th century ) is a children's book author and politician in Ghana. For her book " The Walking Calabash and Other Stories " in 1977, she was honored in 1980 with the presentation of the Noma Prize for African Writing ( honorable mention ). The award was in the same year at Mariama Bâ.

Owusu- Nimoh began her work as a teacher and principal of Amma Nipaa Memorial Junior Secondary School in Kade in the Western Region of Ghana in 1978. Moreover, she was in Ghana in the Council of State ( Council of State ( Ghana) ), an important organ of the state of Ghana between 1993 and 2001 under the government of Jerry Rawlings member.
