Méribel is a ski resort in the Savoie department in the French Alps. It belongs to the municipality of Les Allues. The village consists of two parts: the grown from a historic village Méribel (1400 meters) and the ski resort of Méribel -Mottaret at 1750 meters altitude. Both districts are located in the Vallée des Allues, the middle one of the three valleys, which form the Trois Vallées ski area.
