Meridian Audio, Ltd.. is a UK based manufacturer of consumer electronics.

The company was founded in 1977 by Bob Stuart and Allen Boothroyd in Huntingdon. Stuart brought an expertise in the fields of psychoacoustics and Electrical Engineering, Boothroyd in the fields of mechanical engineering and industrial design. Boothroyd has designed among other things, some products from Acorn.
