Meriem Wangari
Meriem Wangari (* February 22, 1979 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.
In 2003, she won the Göteborgsvarvet and 2006 Lille Half Marathon. In 2007, she won the Marrakech Marathon over the half marathon distance and at the 20 km from Paris, where she defended her title in 2008 and 2009. In 2009 she won at the Corrida de Langueux and at the Foulées Monte Relaises.
In 2010 she won in Marrakech again the half-marathon competition, finished fifth at the Paris Half Marathon and defended her title in Langueaux. 2011 was followed by a third victory in Langueaux second place in the 20 km from Paris and a win at Saint- Denis Half Marathon.
In 2012 she was second in the Xiamen marathon.
