Merkawre Sobekhotep

Merkaure Sobekhotep ( VII ), and Mer - kau -Re Sobekhotep ( VII ), was an ancient Egyptian King (Pharaoh) of the 13th dynasty ( Second Intermediate Period ). He reigned about 1646-1644 BC

Merkaure Sobekhotep ( VII ) appears in the Turin Royal Canon. After the papyrus he is said to have ruled for four days and an unknown number of months, two years. He is called in the Karnakliste of him are two statues of Karnak known.

He is the last ruler of the 13th dynasty, whose name is preserved in the Turin Royal Canon. The order of the following kings is therefore very uncertain.
