Merlin Bronques

Merlin Bronques ( born April 28, 1969 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American photographer and musician. He was by his party photos he posted on his website lastnightsparty.com known.

Life

Merlin Bronques at times lived in Montreal and Aylmer ( Quebec), Canada or in New York City, USA. He studied music at Concordia University in Montreal in the 1990s. With his bands Ma, NAM: LIVE! or as a solo artist Merlin he was mostly popular as a musician in Canada and releasing several albums on labels such as MCA Records or Dekathlon Records. Since October 2004, Bronques operated as a party photographer. He visited this hip venue in the world and photographed party guests, musicians, DJs but also hotel rooms, streets or places and published these photos on his website. Bronques father, however, had completed a photo studio, Bronques himself had no photographic training. He photographed numerous celebrities, including Madonna and David Bowie.
