Merrin Dungey
Merrin Dungey ( born August 6, 1971 in Sacramento, California) is an American actress.
Life
Dungey came early on, probably inspired by that her older sister Channing worked as a producer. Her first appearance on television was when she hosted a local teen talk show. She studied at UCLA and shared here with Kevin Weisman a room. She won the Best Acting Award of the UCLA.
Then she got several guest roles in many famous television series such as Babylon 5, ER - The ER, Seinfeld, Malcolm in the Middle, etc. In the movies she starred in Deep Impact. Her first recurring role was on the show King of Queens, where she played the Kelly Palmer. But Not to forget also her role as Francie Calfo (or Allison Doren ) in the series Alias - The Agent.
Dungey played in the double episode "The Other Side of Life " of the medical drama Grey's Anatomy, the former best friend of gynecologist Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery (Kate Walsh). In this series, the offshoot of the series to Montgomery, Private Practice was presented in the series Dungey was replaced by Audra McDonald.
