Merupuri - The Prince Charming (Japaneseめるぷり メルヘン ☆ プリンス, Merupuri: Meruhen Purinsu ) is a manga series of the Japanese Matsuri Hino illustrator. The approximately 700 -page comic book is primarily aimed at young girls, so can be assigned to the shōjo genus.

Action

The yearning for a Prince Charming girl Airi meets the small, defenseless against acting Alam and decides the time being to take care of him. He is the prince of a magical kingdom and a curse on him. The boy is the next day much older, about the same age as Airi. It turns out that he is aging in the dark.

Alam lives from then on with Airi who feels a strong affection for him after a short time. When the prince goes back to his home Astelle, even Airi gets into the magic land.

Again, in their world, Airi and Alam go on a school trip where it comes to the first kiss between them. Airi will clear her love for Alam. Suddenly Airi seems to have vanished from his memory. Through trickery and magic Alam's memories of Airi were included in a magic box. Airi follows him to Astelle. By all means, she tries to call him their shared experiences back into memory. So she enters the "forbidden building " to find the magic box.

Publications

Merupuri - The Prince Charming appeared in Japan from August 2002 to September 2004 in 22 separate chapters in the manga magazine LaLa. The Hakusensha publishing house brought this single chapter out in four anthologies.

The manga has been translated into French, English and German. In Germany Planet Manga moved the four volumes from October 2005 to April 2006 in zweimonatlichem publishing schedule. Merupuri - The Prince Charming was in two anthologies named Merupuri 2010 - re- released The Prince Charming Dream Edition by Planet Manga.
