Meryptah

Meriptah was the high priest of Amun under Amenhotep III. in the Egyptian 18th Dynasty.

Meriptah is in a royal decree from the 20th year of the reign of Amenhotep III. testifies, which provides a Anhaltungspunkt to his dating. He was in his office likely successor Ptahmose, which is attested in the first half of the sovereign government in this office. A certain May followed him in office, but only testified under Akhenaten. Meriptah is known by some statues.
