Mesnil-Saint-Georges
Mesnil -Saint- Georges ( Picard: Mini -Saint -Georges ) is a northern French village with 178 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du canton de Montdidier, in the canton Montdidier.
Geography
The community on the border of Oise is located 3.5 km west of Montdidier and directly to this then at the Department road D930 (formerly Route nationale 30).
History
The in World War completely destroyed community received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
