Mestawet Tufa

Mestawet Tufa ( born 14 September 1983 in the province of Arsi ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner.

The Vice - Youth World Champion from 2001 in 3000 -meter run won the 2003, 2006 and 2008 the Zevenheuvelenloop over 15km in Nijmegen. At the World Cross Country Championships in 2006 they finished seventh and took the team gold at the World Cross Country Championships in 2008, she won silver and team gold again.

The Pan-African Games 2007 she won the 10,000 -meter run.
