It contains more classic songs such as the title track or Living for Tonite. The band refined developed on Balls to the Wall style and added later described as typical elements Accept details such as male choirs or trips to the classical music added. With Teach Us to Survive the band ventured also an excursion into jazzy realms. For the band, it was also about to be successful in the U.S. market, but this was only a very limited extent.
