Metallurg Serov

Metallurg Serov (Russian Металлург Серов ) is a Russian ice hockey club from Serov, who played in the 2008 /09 season in the league Wysschaja.

History

The club was founded in 1961. In Soviet times, the team played, among others, in the second-rate at this time Perwaja league. In the 1998/99 season the team entered in the championship of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, which was held parallel to the sub-prime Wysschaja League due to discrepancies. After the championship of the Association was dissolved the following year, following an agreement with the organizers of the Wysschaja League again, Metallurg Serov was an integral part of that very Wysschaja league took in the Metallurg from 1999 to 2009.
