Metcalfe County, Kentucky

Metcalfe County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Edmonton, which was named after Edmund P. History

Metcalfe County was formed on February 1, 1850 from parts of Adair County, Barren County, Cumberland County, Green County and Monroe County. It was named after Thomas Metcalfe, a governor, U.S. Senator and member of the U.S. Congress.
