Methe

Methe ( ancient Greek Μέθη ) is a bakchische nymph in Greek mythology. As a companion of wine gods like Dionysos and Silenos she was regarded as the personalized drunkenness, also called Mainade Kraipale ( ancient Greek κραιπάλη = intoxication, hangover ). From Staphylos, a companion of Dionysus, she was the mother of Botrys.
