Metin Akan

Metin Akan ( born May 28, 1983 in Bursa) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Club career

Metin Akan began his club career in 1999 in the youth of A. Vefikpaşaspor. After few months he played for youth Kazıklı Kooperatifspor and then after 2001 for the youth of Bursaspor. Then the summer of 2001 he was given a professional contract but played mainly for the reserve team. Only on the last day he would be used in a Süper Lig match. In the season 2002/ 03 he came regularly to stakes for the first team. For the 2003/ 04 season, he was then re-used mainly for the reserve. 2004/ 05 he moved to second division Inegölspor. After two seasons, he moved to Erstligistin Manisaspor and after subsequent two years to MKE Ankaragucu.

Since summer 2011 he has been active for Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor. After he was a game -time working for this club, he joined the 2012/13 season to the second division Adanaspor.

National

Akan played in 2003 a total of four times for the Turkish U -20 Youth National Team.
