Metro Station (band)
Metro station was a four-piece American pop - rock and electro-pop band from Los Angeles, founded in 2006. She separated officially on 23 March 2010.
Career
2006 Trace Cyrus and Mason Musso learned to know in Los Angeles. The connection came about Hannah Montana Disney series into existence: Traces half sister Miley Cyrus and Mason's younger brother Mitchel Musso play there main roles. With Blake Healy together they founded the music group Metro station and recorded their first song Seventeen Forever on. About MySpace the song became popular and gave them not only a recording contract with Columbia Records, but it offered them also Anthony Improgo as a drummer and fourth band member.
Within a year they produced their self-titled debut album, which was ultimately released in September 2007. Thus they were able to place the end of 2007 in the top 10 of the Electronic album charts and also keep for months, but both Kelsey and Control as single releases were unsuccessful and did not enter the charts. The popularity of metro station only rose from mid-2008, from the title Shake it. In April 2008 this went into the official U.S. charts, and weeks worked for weeks up until the Top 10 Then also managed the album in the official sales charts. Concerts and tours with well-known bands like Panic at the Disco or Good Charlotte were the result.
2009 Blake Healy left the band and early March 2010, it was announced on the website, that Anthony Improgo not listened to the band. From the end of Metro station was officially not spoken a scheduled festival appearance of the remaining duo Musso and Cyrus and a half months later was canceled. Officially, the band had separated on 23 March 2010, after there had been conflicts between Musso and Cyrus. Cyrus then started a solo project called " Ashland High ', while Musso retained the rights to the name METRO STATION. .
Reformation
On 31 May 2011 Musso published on his personal YouTube channel, ' metrostation2011 ' the first single after the reformation. On July 20 of the same year Musso announced on Twitter that he was working with Anthony Improgo and Blake Healy on a new metro station album. On September 25, Musso then published the song ' Closer and Closer ', which was written at Blake Healy.
