MetroCentre (shopping centre)

The Metro Centre is one of the largest shopping centers in Europe. The shopping center is located in Gateshead near Newcastle on a former industrial wasteland. It was opened in 1986 and includes an amusement park ( Metroland ) and around 330 shops. The Metro Centre is part of the Capital Shopping Centres Group.
