Mette Schjoldager

Mette Schjoldager (* April 21, 1977 in Viby, Roskilde municipality on the island of Zealand ) is a Danish badminton player.

Career

Mette Schjoldager took Jens Eriksen participate as partners in the mixed tournament of the 2000 Summer Olympics. In the quarterfinals, they lost Tri Kusharyanto and Minarti Timur from Indonesia, who won the silver medal later. Mette and Jens but finished second. Discharged in the same year the European Championships in mixed doubles

At the European Championships in 2002 she won along with Jens Eriksen the final in mixed doubles against Gail Emms and Nathan Robertson. At the same event Mette was with Pernille Harder also in the final of the women's doubles discipline, but they also lost to the Danish pairing Jane F. Bramsen and Ann- Lou Jørgensen.

At the 2004 Summer Olympics took Schjoldager together with Pernille Harder part in the women 's doubles, where they were eliminated in the second round. In addition, she started again with Jens Eriksen in the mixed doubles. The two reach the small final and won the victory over the also coming from Denmark Jonas Rasmussen and Rikke Olsen the bronze medal. When discharged in the same year, together with European Mette Pernille third in the women's doubles and with Jens Eriksen in the mixed doubles.

Was completed in 2006 Mette Schjoldager and Jens Eriksen the European Championships in second place in the mixed doubles.
