Metz (company)

The Metz -Werke GmbH & Co KG is a company in the field of consumer electronics, based in Franconia Fuerth. The family develops, manufactures and sells high-quality products in consumer electronics, photo electronics and plastics technology. Development and production of the products will take place in Germany. The company was founded in 1938 by Paul Metz.

History

On 28 November 1938, the Company was informed by Paul Metz. Founded in Fürth. From 1939 onwards, electronic devices were manufactured for Carl Zeiss and the production program was expanded by the production of products of high frequency technology. By the end of the Second World War in 1945 shortwave transmitters were produced and receivers as well as other wireless technology. After that was founded in 1947 with the production of the first radio station in the business of consumer electronics.
