Mevlana Mosque, Rotterdam

The Mevlana Mosque ( Dutch: Mevlana Moskee, Turkish: Mevlana Camii ) is a mosque in the northwest of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, which is mainly the Turkish- Dutch community. The mosque, which was named after the Islamic mystic Jalal ad-Din ar - Rumi, was built in 2001 and has two minarets. The mosque is part of the foundation " Hollanda Diyanet Vakfi " the Turkish Diyanet. The church was chosen in 2006 as the most attractive building in Rotterdam.
