Background information on each song

This song is about the Football World Cup '86 in Mexico. In contrast to " France '84 " and " football Violence ", the first studio album The Nice man, it is no longer about equality between football and violence, but to the conviction of the victory of the German team and to the associated fun. Alcohol also plays a big role in this song. It is also the last song the band and enjoys football - probably because of it - scene overarching popularity.

While the ska version on The nice man was long available as a demo recording prior to its publication, the rock version was first performed relatively shortly before its publication on Mexico in the talk show " Live from the Alabama ". It was decided to take up the " Pogo " version in order to leave rock -O -Rama as little rights to song material, since the contract expired plate (1985/1986) shortly thereafter.

Lyrically changed the following line: from. " Oi you hear when you're home " became " You hear Onkelz when you're at home."

The song is performed with GEMA and later publications in each arm as a wife.
