Mexico is a city ( with a status of "City" ) and the administrative seat of Audrain County in the central north east of the U.S. state of Missouri. In 2010, Mexico had 11,543 inhabitants.
Geography
Mexico is located about 60 km north of the Missouri River and about 85 km west of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Illinois.
