The monastery Meschyhirja was a monastery in Ukraine, which was located in Novi Petriwzi north of the capital Kiev on the banks of the Dnieper.

It was founded in 988 as one of the first East Slavic monastery of Kievan Rus. The monastery was several times severely damaged or destroyed by acts of war or fire. Recently it has been carefully restored and converted in 1894 after the completion of the work in the same year in a convent. After the October Revolution in 1918 closed and demolished in 1935 to 1936 by the Soviet Union on the basis of a decision of the Politburo.

After the demolition of a country residence for officials of the Communist Party of Ukraine was built in place of the monastery. The residence Meschyhirja was last used by the former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to the deposition in February 2014 as a private residential home.
