Mezzanino
Mezzanino is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1470 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Pavia in Lombardy. The municipality is situated approximately eight kilometers south-southeast of Pavia in the Po at Pavese on the south bank of the Po, at its confluence with the Ticino. The Parco naturale della Valle del Ticino lombardo covered parts of the community.
History
The founding Mezzaninos was probably on a river island of the Po.
Traffic
Through the community, the former State Road 617 leads Bronese (now a provincial road ) from Pavia to Broni.
