The Miami Arena was a sports arena in Miami in the U.S. state of Florida.

History

After construction cost of 52.5 million U.S. dollars in the Miami Arena was inaugurated in July 1988. It replaced the Hollywood Sportatorium in 1970, which was concluded in 1988 and replaced after the demolition in 1993 by a supermarket.

The Miami Arena was from 1988 to 1999 home of the NBA team Miami Heat, then they moved to the American Airlines Arena to.
