Mianne Bagger

Mianne excavator ( born December 25, 1966 in Denmark ) is a professional golfer who with her parents moved to Australia in 1979. Excavator plays since the age of eight golf. In paintings, she is seen at the age of 14 years with the golfer Greg Norman.

Excavators had been assigned to the male gender at birth and in 1995 had a gender reassignment surgery. After this operation, she played in 1998 for the first time in an amateur tournament golf, in a women's tournament. In the years 1999, 2001 and 2002, she was South Australian Amateur Champion.

In 2004, she succeeded as the first transsexual golfer at a women's professional tournament, the Australian Open to take part, after the Australian Golf Association had changed its participation rules for golfers with male past. Then they won the right to participate in professional tournaments in Europe, South Africa and the USA. The local golf associations permit now in line with the rules of the IOC from 2004, those women participating who were not even at birth female.
