Miaoli City

Miaoli (Chinese苗栗市, Pinyin Miaoli Shì ) is a town of about 90,000 inhabitants in the Republic of China on Taiwan. It is the capital of the district of Miaoli.

Location

Miaoli is located in the northwestern part of Taiwan in the valley of Houlong River, which flows east and north of the city center and less than 10 km north-west flows into the Formosastraße. History
